Red is the color of love, and christmas offcourse... it's the color of live, death, desire and happiness. Red can be sexy, red can be emotional. I really wish I had more red in my closet!

Yesterday we celebrated hannah's birthday, and although we were all tired after a busy week, we had a very good time. This week is going to be great because we have less to do at school, and we all have time to get into the christmas spirit. We forgot to take pictures yesterday, so instead we have got these picures we took for a few days ago. winter - we meet you with style

Hey! Finally weekend! And we are getting closer and closer to christmas:) (hehe we can't wait.)
I really like the winter and I'm really looking forward to go skiing. Of course, I must admit that the winter is very dark (where did the sun go??), when I go to school it's dark and when I go home.. It makes you want to stay home in bed with lots of blankets and hot chocolate or something. Well,.. you can't just stay in bed all winter, so therefore we say: get up and dress up. Hannah and I did just that.

The many ways to do lace...

I am really obsessed with lace lately... I love the way it symbolizes both grief, sensuality, innocence, religion and bad taste at the same time. When you wear lace you are dressed and undressed at the same time. I really like that thought. Prada had some lovely lace this season which was very interesting because the look was so conservative. I loved the blouses at Givenchy and the lace dress at Stella McCartney... But if I should pick one show, the Alexander McQueen show was the highlight for me. The gothic lace at the start of the show made me fall in love.

The church was the first to use lace, so I think it a paradox that we use it to look sexy... I love lace underwear, especially white for some reason...
This is my favorite lace blouse and a bolero with lace details. They are both vintage from Tonica Vintage.

Hello halloween

Halloween is comming up and we took some pictures inspired of Givenchy and Ysl with the dark goth-like colours. We also tried to look good (the typical halloween style, scary, byt yet sexy haha;)), but sadly we ended up looking more scary and insane than we would have wanted, haha..:) but still, it's fun to dress up!
Anyway, if you have seen "The wizard of Oz" you might se that we look quite similar to the green witch. Haha <3

Uniform yourself

We love the tough military look, it's so cool! At the runway we saw beautiful models dressed in uniform jackets and they showed us so many inspiring ways to wear a military inspired outfit. Check out brands like Moschino, Temperly and Ralhp Lauren (for example) at style.com (autumn collections 08).



You can combine military jackets with long leather boots and you'll look so cool! If you want, you can soften the look with a few feminine details, like for example a blouse, or as we did, with long stockings and a pink lipstick <3

Ready to wear

Don't know about you guys, but we simply loved the DKNY "ready to wear" fall 08 collection. It's perfect for cute and fashionable girls just like oss:) We loved the little short dresses with beautiful fabrics with the colours of the autumn combined with black tights, high heels and tough leather jackets. Our favourite on the runway was definately the beautiful normegian top model Siri tollerød! Again we strongly recomend that you check out the collection at www.Style.com
